Monday, Fall in Vista Hermosa (Jun 3)

Tae: At 8 am sharp, I hire a dog walker for Sasuke. Lou Howell pops up as a potential hire so I choose him.

Today’s our first day in the Romance Consultant career. Obviously, we’ll always be working from home. We have two Work from Home (WfH) tasks each: one social and listening to the Romance Station for an hour. Alej and I do the socials on each other. Easy! (Hard to see, but there's a speaker on the wall behind those hanging pots & pans.)

Alej: A creepy ghost phones to offer me her inheritance but I decline. If buying Lottery tickets is taboo, I imagine accepting a sketchy inheritance is, too.

Tae: My mother-in-law Helena phones to ask if she can stay over by herself for several days. I 'm definitely stay out of whatever’s happening between her and my father-in-law!

Tae: So, things are worse than we initially realized. Familial relationships, friendships, and uni degrees have vanished throughout our simverse. We’re not even gonna try to fix the households of the other challenge sims in a single day! First, we visit Cebolla and her family.
Alej: Tae and I get re-acquainted with Cebolla, Kristen, and Ringtail, then I ask for an introduction to Leo.

Tae: That’s me with Leif. Did I mention that our kids were excited about meeting Cebolla but she made them wait shile she greeted Zorro first. All the greetings take forever!  Once the kiddos have interacted with Cebolla, Kirsten, Ringtail, Leo, and Leif, the Navarro tsumani recedes.

Alej: Tae, I just get an incredibly rude phone call from your Grandma Jiwoo!

Tae:How could she trash-talk me to you like that? I’d been thinking of inviting her and Grandpa Shoji for a stayover next, but that’s not happening now.

Alej: Cut her some slack, Tae. We both know she’s erratic.

Alej: We got a late start today, so it’s already dark by the time we arrive at the Woods residence. Honey and Melody are out front, but where’s Rowan?

Tae: Um, Watcher? By any chance, did you never have Rowan join the Education career?
Watcher: Oops!  It’s not too late to switch his career now. Sorry, Rowan!

Honey: So we lost all our relationships and our degrees? Why didn’t you just roll back to an earlier save?

Tae: I would have if I’d had one. What a mess, right? 😭😭😭

Rowan: Maybe throw a party once you’ve met the rest of our friend group, yeah?

Alej: That’s our plan! Well, we better be going. Thanks for letting us hang out!

Watcher’s Notes:

*Fairy emotions: Apparently, our fairy kids will experience emotions that can only be soothed and eventually overcome by fairies of teen or older ages. I don’t want Tae or Alej to go back to being fairies for that, so I need to think about how to deal with this. Is that a bug? 

*Cebolla and Zorro: I lol'ed at Cebolla making all 4 toddlers wait to greet her while she said hello to Zorro first. So very Cebolla!

*Lou Howell phoned Tae with that ALL THE RAGE! message, even though Tae is no longer a fairy. Tae told him to come quickly over to the Woods residence. I wanted to see if Tae could use his Emotional Control character trait to soothe Lou’s beast, but Lou never showed up.
