More Visiting

Monday, Fall in Vista Hermosa (June 10)

Tae: Today’s the day we let go of Patchy. Alej and I both buy the Free Services trait then hire a scheduled gardener for zero simoleons.  From now on, we’ll only tend the garden on weekends.

Alej and I joined the Romance Consultant career at Level 4. This morning, I get promoted to a L7 Romantic Health Specialist, probably because of that day I accidentally chose Go to Work. 

Alej: Did I mention that one of my 7 Wild Dates rewards was an insta-boost to Rank 3 Fame? While doing my 2-hr task watching a telenovela, Jace phoned to ask about catching up. He was Tae’s first bestie, so why would my friendship with Jace ever change?

Tae: Davi wakes up this morning with his first angry Emotional Struggles moodlet. Luckily, Alej was willing to transform back into a fairy to help our toddlers manage their emotions.

Esme: Hey, thanks for coming over!

Zorro: Yeah, I haven’t seen you since you lived with us in Nordhaven in March!

Esme: Good times! But why are you wearing tacos?

Zorro: It’s a theme thing for Ciudad Enamorada.

Sasuke: How have you been, Louie? 

Louie: Good, good. Long time, no see!

Sasuke: Well, we’re neighbors now so we’ll see each other around.

Louie: Sorry you missed Mama Irene–she’s out this evening.

Kenji: Wow, Uncle Wolfie! How does Esme do that?

Wolfie: Oh, it’s just a li’l trick I taught her.

Tae: Back home, I flirt with Alej five times and complete my Romantic Explorer aspiration.

(The next day)

Alej: This morning, first Yuna then Xica wake up angry due to Emotional Struggles. After helping Yuna manage her emotions, I get a notification suggesting that she won’t wake up in an angry, destructive mood anymore. Then, the same thing happens with Xica. Really, their emotional struggles are over?

Tae: Alej earns his L7 promotion, then I earn my L8 promotion, choosing the Matchmaker branch. The good news: I only get one WfH assignment each shift; the bad news: my assignment is to Suggest a Potential Match. Since my besties are all happily married, I go out of my way to meet a random sim on the street. When I click “Suggest a Potential Match,” Jace is the only option. Of course, I cheat to complete this assignment. Can you blame me? Ugh!

Auntie Megumi and the rest of the Ito household are living at Yuma Heights in Oasis Springs this month. We take the kids there plus our grandparents, since Grandpa is Auntie Megumi’s father.

Uncle Naoki seems to be avoiding us, but the kids meet their Grand-Auntie Megumi and my cousins–Kiyoshi, Nanami, and Sayoko. That’s Sayoko sitting to the right of Kiyoshi.

And now we’ve met all of our extended family, our besties, their spouses, and their babies (both hooman and furry).

Watcher’s Notes:

*Emotional Struggles: After Alej received the notification about Xica and Yuna no longe getting the angry Emotional Struggles moodlet, I used MCCC to check their logging files. Apparently, getting help to manage their emotions three times is the magic number. 

*Suggest Potential Match: Why would the game suggest happily married sims as potential matches? It makes no sense at all. Tae will try to max the Matchmaker career ASAP then quit.
