Friday, Winter in Vista Hermosa (Jun 24)
Watcher: Hey, Alej! It’s 6 am. Why don’t you check the status of your applications?
Alej: Getting my acceptance letter today would be such perfect timing!
Watcher: Just in case, though, I googled how to cheat your insta-enrollment…
Alej: Wooo! My acceptance letter arrived! I’ve been accepted into all of Britechester U’s distinguished degree programs! But why can’t I enroll in the Fine Arts degree program?
Watcher: You can check your status from 6 am, but you can’t actually enroll until 8 am.
Alej: Good to know, I was startin’ to panic. So glad I got the acceptance letter without cheating!
Tae: Alej isn’t the only one with good news today! When I license my first song for guitar, it gets nominated for a Starlight Accolades Award! Maybe Alej will have time to attend the award ceremony with me this Sunday.
Tae: I’m sick and tired of waiting for my Workaholic lifestyle to go away. What about you?
Alej: Same. Let’s buy the Lifestyle-Go-Poof potion from the Reward Store. It’ll be faster than if we each traveled for a Lifestyle Coaching session.
Tae: Bottoms up!
Tae: While preparing lunch, I unlock the Secret Spice mastery perk. Of course, I say yes! Alej unlocked Secret Spice weeks ago, but I’ve been wanting this mastery perk since I was a teen living in Copperdale!
Tae: Lou visits this evening for a “mentoring sesh.” I’d completely forgotten that I’d offered to mentor him after learning that he “Likes Cooking.”
Yuna: For my Be Crafty challenge, I’ve already made 5 high-quality papercrafts but still need to gift a third papercraft to someone. Thaty’s why I gift a Fluttering Friendship card to my bestie, Lou.
(The next morning)
Tae: How are your classes, Alej?
Alej: Since our kids all finished scouts and their four base aspirations, I enrolled in 3 core courses and a guitar elective. If it’s too much, I’ll take fewer credits next time.
Tae: Your presentation’s looking great, Alej. How much more schoolwork do you have this weekend?
Alej: Once this presentation is Excellent, I'm done until Monday.
Tae: Great news! And if you come with me to DSV, I'll mentor you for your guitar elective.
(At Gibbi Point)
Mia: You finally came to visit us in Gibbi Point, Zorro!
Zorro: Long time no see, Mama. Our household suffered friendship amnesia at the start of this month. I forgot everyone, even my household members! Did you know Tae and Alej have four kids now?
Mia: Um, why are you wearing folded tostadas on your back?
Zorro: Nooo, mama. These are tacos, not folded tostadas!
Zorro: Grandpa Jun, have you seen my sister Kali? I can’t find her.
Jun: Hmmm, let me think…
Kali: *hiding from Zorro
Kali: Ack, what are you doing, you oaf! Don’t you know you’re kinda heavy?
Zorro: I’m giving you a hug from behind, Kali. I missed you!
Kali: Took you long enough to visit!
Zorro: Tae & Alej have four kids–we've had our hands full taking care of them!
Yuna: We all know Grandpa Jun from his stayovers with Grandma Brytani. We introduce ourselves to Auntie Chiyo, Zorro’s mama Mia, and his sister Kali.
Davi: I finished my Comfortable in Water challenge after doing a back float!
Xica: That’s cuz you started the challenge yesterday. Yuna, Kenji, and I only started it after coming to Gibbi Point, but we can’t finish it without a diving board! *splashes Davi
Tae: Stop picking your nose, Davi! Ou know better than that!
Davi: I’m not! I have a loose tooth and I’m trying to pull it out!
Tae: Well, that’s different. Let’s head home! You don’t want to lose your first tooth on the street in front of your Grandpa Jun’s house, right?
Watcher’s Note:
*Lifestyle Coach: It’s odd that Alej maxed this Naturopath branch, but he never had any tasks related to the Lifestyle Coaching sessions. Why couldn’t Tae ask Alej to help get rid of his Workaholic lifestyle while they ived in Innisgreen? Shouldn't there be more of a connection between the Lifestyle Coach career and the Lifestyle Coaching sessions?
*Chiyo: Sorry you only appeared in one pic with no dialogue. It's hard to compete with the children and pets for cuteness.
