Thursday, Fall in Vista Hermosa (Jun 12)

Alej: This morning, I catch my 5th unique axolotl at our nearby park. Then I try having Tae and the kids each breed an axolotl. The result? 3 new axolotls and some duplicates.

Tae: Poor Alej! He earns his L8 promotion this morning but still has 2 WfH assignments to complete! Thankfully, my WfH assignment is to Ask 3 Sims about Recent Dates. Alej and our teen dog walker Lou don't offer me that social but I can ask both my parents.

Roaming the neighborhood for a third sim to ask, I meet a blue bear. I ask about his sadness, learn about his sadness, but can’t ask him about his recent dates. I’ll look for your ring later, bruh. I do meet another sim who lets me complete my assignment. That’s done!

Today, HarvestFest and the last holiday before Yuna and Davi age up to children, so I added the Wear Costumes tradition because we love seeing toddlers dressed as Holiday Helpers. And for a more fitting scenic background, we’ve traveled to Yukimatsu.

Alej: After Tae prepares all the HarvestFest dishes, I prepare a Dream Chaser dish for the toddlers to see if they'll earn double satisfaction for fulfilling their wants. During the 4-hr Dream Chaser effect, the kids satisfied various wants by socializing with our guests, Tae, and me, but they never earn more than 25 sp. 

Tae: Our HarvestFest guests are all family, except for Juwon (since he’d already met my entire family before) and his wife Vivi. We're planning a Spooky Party for friends next week.

We’ve met all of our family members but, due to the friendship wipe, they don’t know each other, so I hope they’re mixing and mingling!

Alej: How are you fishing while holding Xica?
Tae: I’m not, she’s just hanging onto me. 

Alej: Ugh, that papparazzo is so annoying!

Tae: You’re telling me! They're right in my face!

Tae: I catch a strange ring which, upon examination, might be the ring that sad, blue bear was talking about today. It’s too late to go looking for the bear tonight, though, so that’ll have to wait until tomorrow.

*Lou Howell: I aged him down to teen at the start of this challenge. He's one of my fave male premades alongside the sage Morgyn and the tenant Denzel from For Rent. *Family Recipes: This is the first time I've had my sims eat a family recipe. I'll try Dream Chaser again on Yuna and Davi after their upcoming birthday. Tae and Alej have so many satisfaction points, they don't need double satisifaction.
