Back to Everdew

Tuesday, Fall in Vista Hermosa

Tae: We’re not punishing Grandpa Shoji for Grandma Jiwoo’s mean call phone call and have invited them for a four-day stayover. I hope she behaves herself.

Alej: Tae accidentally chooses to Go to Work but I’m working from home. I’m glad the reverse didn’t happen, because I’ve got something important to do before visiting the Munches and Rollins this afternoon.

Alej: I take the kids and their great-grandparents to The Watering Hole in Everdew. Yuna and Kenji enjoy playing in the water.

I ask several fairies for a Fairy Seedling and my homie Elric Attenberry comes through with one. I plant it at The Watering Hole to summon Mother Nature, again. You know the drill.

Then I transform into a fairy again for the sole purpose of helping our three fairy kids deal with their emotional bursts as toddlers and children. Obviously, I didn’t want to become a fairy again but fairy children need to be raised by a fairy caregiver. (If Jace’s Watcher spots me trying to absorb Twila’s emotions, I hope she’ll reset me immediately.)

Back home, I have to watch a telenovela on TV for two hours. Sweet Davi walks all the way to the front of the house to sit by me while he eats.

On his way to bed, Davi stops to imitate Zorro. Is it because Davi’s a Charmer that he gets along so well with Sass and Zorro?

Tae: I hire Lou Howell again to walk Sasuke. Lou shows up in human form but glowing red eyes. Alej runs out to Soothe the Beast but cannot. Turns out Lou’s beast can only be soothed after he’s transformed.  (Hey, isn’t that Wolfie walking this way from the left?)

Tae: Once Alej has calmed Lou down, Lou leaves to take Sasuke on his walk.

Irene: Hey, you live in Vista Hermosa, too?

Tae: Oh no, I’m so sorry, Irene! Watcher swears she added your brown layer and new hairstyle but…

Watcher: Darn it, didn’t I save? (I didn't notice Irene's hair and top until I was editing this image, but they're both fixed now)

Wolfie: I think I like Irene’s top without that layer, though. Your babies already asleep?

Tae: Yeah, don’t think you’re getting off easy tonight. We’re all gonna visit you tomorrow!

Alej: Irene, I hear you earned your fifth star today. Congrats!

Watcher’s Notes:

*Fairy kids:I had no idea that fairy children require the emotional care of a fairy caregiver.

Since Alej is not a challenge sim, he’ll stay a fairy until at leas one of the kids ages up to a teen. Maybe we should expedite Yuna’s aging process; she’s the one I’d been planning to keep as a fairy from the start.

*Great-grandparents: They don’t autonomously care for the kids like the kids’ grandparents, but I noticed the kids were getting “Grandparent Candy” from them, so that’s sweet.
