Sasuke: Fireplaces are so cozy!
Sunday, Fall in Vista Hermosa (June 9)
Tae: We both have today off, so I check that the toddlers all have what they need then phone Lou to walk Sasuke. We're clearing out plates because Alej is hoping for more perfect dates today.
Alej: We go on three more perfect dates in no time. I’d read that completing the sixth date will give me a 24-hour Tense moodlet to make the last date harder. To keep me from failing the challenge, Watcher removes my Carefree trait before we start our sixth date.
She also removed our bedroom door during our 4th date to keep out the grandparents. They were so intrusive that she nearly ended their stayover.
I hadn’t planned to start the 7th date right away, but my Tense moodlet is completely buried by all my positive moodlets, so I ask Tae out immediately. At first, everything is going really well. (By the way, I completed my Romantic Explorer aspiration during our fourth date.)
Suddenly, a fire breaks out somewhere in the house and the grandparents panic instead of trying to extinguish it. Great! With an additional Tense moodlet from the fire, I become Very Tense and can’t complete my two date goals, even after our emergency sprinkler system puts out the fire. But I push through with my main goal and somehow manage to earn a perfect date! Mission accomplished!
Tae: Question. Would you dine at a restaurant named The Sleeping Taco?
Tae: In addition to their recent First Fire milestone, the toddlers have earned all their toddler milestones except Davi and Xica are looking to make a First Child Friend. Juwon phoned this morning to invite us over, so we’re off to Oasis Springs to meet his kids.
Davi (gray sweater) befriends Juwon and Vivi’s daughter, Lola.
The kids also meet Juwon and Vivi for the first time.
Davi: Why did you make friends with Lola? She’s my friend! You’re already friends with the Flower Bunny!
Kenji (brown t-shirt) You have to ask me why? Lola’s so much cuter than the Flower Bunny. Duh.
And Xica has a new friend, too. That’s Jae (sounds like Jay), who was born several days after Lola. Doesn't he look like a mini-Juwon!
Now that the toddlers are done with their skills & milestones plus the 7 Wild Dates Challenge is over, Tae and Alej can perhaps enjoy a little more free time.

*7 Wild Dates: I’d mistakenly believed that I’d completed this challenge before but I obviously hadn’t since I didn’t remember the 7th date Tense moodlet. I read online that sim actions to alleviate the tension speeds up the date timer's countdown, whereas the Carefree trait or any Watcher action (like cheating away the Tense moodlet) immediately causes the participating sim to fail the challenge. This was all new to me; apologies if you already knew all this. Anyway, that challenge is behind Alej now!
*Locking Doors: The grandparents were super annoying. I had Alej ask Tae to woohoo to shoo the grandparents from their bedroom so I could remove the door. Why couldn't they simply watch TV and dance elsewhere? For some reason, they're both fixated on Tae and Alej's bedroom. *rolls eyes
I googled this and learned that doors can unlock after traveling. I need to lock for a mod to fix this.

*Lola and Jae Park: It’s been 10 rl days since Juwon and Vivi’s marriage. In CAS, I’d created infant Lola then created infant Jae several days later. I couldn’t be bothered having Tae bake a birthday cake and aging them up at their home, so I simply aged them up in CAS and gave them really quick makeovers.
