Zorro: So, my fried-egg bed is now part of my cat tree. Should I try sleeping there?
Friday, Spring in Everdew (May 15)
Tae: We’re having Fruit Salad for dinner?! Really?
Alej: I know you don’t want to gain weight. so I researched meals with the lowest calorie count. Fruit Salad has zero calories and Garden Salad has 50-70 calories, but Caprese Salad has 330 calories.
Tae: Why would Watcher even do that to me?
Tae: Be honest with me, Sasuke! Do I look to you like I’ve gained weight?
Sasuke: Hmmm, you do have the beginnings of a spare tire around the waist, Tae.
Tae: Oh no! That cannot happen!
Sasuke: If we continue jogging like this for the next 10 days, you’ll have your slender silhouette back in no time! (Will Tae fall for this?)
(The next morning)
Tae: Alej, I just gave birth yesterday afternoon and you already have a want for another child?
Alej (shyly): Not just “another child,” Tae. I want another child with you!
Tae: Considering how cute our twins are, I’d like another baby, too, but how will we manage?
Alej: Well, it seems an infant can learn up to 34 milestones. Once both our twins earn 15 milestones, can we try for another baby?
Tae: Let’s see how it goes, love. Right now, they only have Born at Hospital and First Smiled.
Alej: *feels super motivated
Tae: There's been so much going on lately that I've had trouble focusing. But while Alej looks after the garden and the twins, I max my Apothecary skill and complete my Elixir Enthusiast aspiration.
Around 5 pm, after wondering why our twins haven’t aged up yet (auto-aging is disabled, duh), we decide to age them up. Watcher missed Yuna’s floating shot but check out her violet eyes! And Davi was hungry so he doesn't float down until a half hour later.
And here’s the four of us after Sunny Yuna and Calm Davi get their makeovers.
Davi enjoy s bubble bath while Alej tries to figure out (unsuccessfully) why he can’t change Yuna’s diaper.
Four hours later, both twins need diaper changes but we can’t use the changing tables. You can see I’m being told that Davi doesn’t need his diaper changed but his Needs say otherwise. Alej and I had planned to visit his parents with the twins, but we lost a whole evening trying to change their diapers. Grrrrr.
Tae: You don’t think I’ve gained weight, do you, Zorro?
Zorro: You look exactly the same to me, Tae.
Tae: Have I told you how much I love you lately, Zorro?
I mentor Alej until he’s nearly L9 Apothecary when I sense that Yuna’s hungry, so I go indoors. (I never knew I could hold Zorro while mentoring Alej. Is this the glitch? I think it’s adorable!)
When I go to feed Yuna, I notice she has the Change Diaper option now. Even though she doesn’t need it, I change her diaper anyway for good luck. *rolls eyes
It’s around 11 pm I’m outside waiting for Sasuke to go jogging. Of course, I get abducted. So much for my nightly jogging regimen!
(The next morning)
Sasuke: It’s 5 am, Tae! I was looking all over for you last night. Why’d you bail on our nightly jog?
Tae: Didn’t you get the memo, smartypants? I got abducted. Watcher, do we need a second satellite dish? We keep forgetting to set the one we have to “Prevent Abductions.”
Watcher’s Notes:
*In the Child Birth mod, I selected “Enable Weight Gain after Birth” for Tae but it seems he's stayed slim.
