Sunday, Summer in Everdew (May 25)

Tae: Zorro ran away right after we returned from Granite Falls three nights ago, but we haven’t been been able to post a Missing Pet Alert. Today, Watcher figured out Zorro was bugged and reset him. The whole household was missing him, even the babies, but he’s back!

Tae: We visit my grandparents in Oasis Springs where Alej’s parents are staying. I introduce Xica to Grandma Jiwoo then we introduce Kenji everyone.

Alej: This is your fourth great-grandchild, Grandpa Shoji! His name's Kenji.

Shoji: Four children! It must be difficult, even with Brytani and Jun helping. I hear Yuna and Davi already earned all their milestones. Why don’t you let us watch after them for a while?

Alej: Do you mean it? That would let us focus on Xica and Kenji. Let me discuss this with Tae. Thank you for offering!

Alej: We visit the park but it’s already too dark. We invite Melody to the park (Honey and Rowan were out). Kenji really wants to go meet Melody as well. 

Tae: We better take Melody home, Alej, then we can leave Yuna and Davi with their great-grandparents.

Tae: Juwon! How have you been? Yes, we've been so busy since we last met. I’m sorry I couldn’t invite you to our wedding, but I couldn’t even invite Papa Caleb or Auntie Megumi! 

Juwon: You phoned to apologize for not inviting me to your wedding? 

Tae: Actually, Watcher’s been wanting to help you meet your special someone, but Alej and I started a family and it’s been crazy. Anyway, are you interested?

I don’t edit my bio pic or traits, but I edit my orientation to Men and Women. My first Cupid Corner’s attempt, I’m attracted to two matches and the rest are rubbish (no thanks, Robin!). Um, I seem to have a type?  I have amazing compatibility with both Hyeon (Creative, Outgoing) and Hyunjin (Creative, Dance Machine; from Tae’s Bachelor Challenge)

Juwon: Did you move here recenty, Hyeon? I’ve never seen you around before.

Hyeon: I believe you summoned me to this simverse by saving me to your Cupid’s Corner matches. And as much as I’m attracted to you, Juwon, those are not my jam.

Hyeon: How funny that we have the same hairstyle! If we end up together, do you think one of us should change hairstyles? (Watcher: Why is Tae's grandma at the lounge alone this late at night?)

For our Get-to-Know-You date, I chose Be Flirty as one of our activities. When a date goal appears to be affectionate, I give Hyeon a rose.

Soon after, we become Lovers and Good Friends. I’m speechless when he mentions the Mile-High Club. Not to compare but…it took Tae 12 sim-weeks to bring up that topic!

After our date earns a gold medal, I’m about to end it early when Hyeon suddenly asks about living together. It’s been a lonely two months living on my own, but I accept his offer then cancel it. I really like Hyeon but he's my first date, after all!  I hope Watcher will join me on dates with 3 more sims at least. In hindsight, perhaps Be Flirty isn’t the best activity for a Get-to-Know-You date.

Watcher's Notes:

*If we weren't so close to the end of the month, I wouldn't have Tae and Alej outsource babycare to Alej's parents and Tae's grandparents. But we're very close to June and I'd like to arrive in Ciudad Enamorada with four toddlers.

*Cupid's Corner: I have no idea why Cupid's Corner is such a bad matchmaker. Robin Banks, really? And two of Juwon's other matches had two traits that were both Turn-Offs for Juwon.
