Exit Strategy

Tuesday, Summer in Everdew (May 22)

Alej: Patchy has gone missing in action, so I try summoning Spruce Almighty from our Glasswood Tree. He’s alright, I guess. A little too chatty for a gardener.

Tae: While I help Xica practice sitting, Zorro discovers a new fascination. Apparently, he loves watching babies dance!

Sasuke: I don’t understand what the big deal is.

Tae: Once she can sit, Xica tries her first baby food. Did I mention my parents started their stayover yesterday? Also, Alej and I concealed our fairy forms and disabled flying yesteday.

Alej: I take PTO this morning so I can look after the babies while Tae treats his first patient at home. Turns out Tae's still on Family Leave, so we craft a new exit strategy.

Alej: We visit Joe Trader in Sprucederry Grove to get his Deliver the News fable that rewards a Fairy Seedling. When we arrive at Everdew’s Fairy Hub to deliver our items, Care Ren is ill. Curing her completes my Harmonious Fairy aspiration and makes me a Brilliant (Rank 4) fairy.

Tae: Oddly, both Alej and I contract our first-ever ailments after delivering our items to the Fairy Hub, so Alej is the first sim I cure for Harmonious Fairy. After curing the Mystical Fairy and a plant sim, I also become a Rank 4 fairy and complete the aspiration. I’m so glad we decided not to wait to cure patients during our work shifts.

Alej: I was actually the first to plant my Fairy Seedling, but Mother Nature got confused. She didn’t show up for Tae after he planted his Fairy Seedling, after I planted mine, she arrived and removed Tae’s fairy essence instead. Anyway, I have to repeat the process and she returns for a second time.

At Everdew’s Moondrop Springs, I relinquish my Fairy Essence to initiate my transformation.

Tae: Losing our fairy abilities is not a big deal at all.

Alej: And we can both use Wellness to teleport, so it’s not like we’re stuck walking everywhere.

Tae: I’m so glad we hung up our fairy wings, Alej! And we still have 3 Fairy Seedlings for our babies. When they age up to teens, they can decide for themselves whether or not to embrace their fairy forms.

Alej: Speaking of babies...

Tae (changes topic): Maybe we could fullfil your want to vacay in Granite Falls!
