Sunday, Summer in Everdew (May 16)
Alej: Summer has arrived! Have you ever noticed Tae’s two adorable idle animations as a Romantically Reserved sim? Here, he shyly touches his index fingers together. I’ll try to catch him doing the second one, too.
Tae: This morning, I become a Rank 3 Glimmering Fairy and complete my Fairy Stories aspiration. Alej is nearly there, too. I choose the Harmonious Fairy route next, but I”m not sure how much I’ll actually get done. The babies take up so much of our time!
Alej: Thanks to Carly’s Watcher for the tip and to Cebolla’s Watcher for confirming it, we finally manage to change our babies’ diapers this morning. Still, I’m tempted to let Yuna earn the Diaper Blowout milestone that Davi already has. (Ugh, this wallpaper has to go!)
Tae: Distracted by Yuna and the twins, Watcher misses Alej’s splash announcement but he completes Elixir Enthusiast around 8 pm. These days, Zorro’s often hanging around Alej.
Arrgh, it takes us until midnight to change diapers, feed, and bathe our twins so they can finally go to sleep. What a long day!
(The next morning)
Tae: Our day starts with Alej helping me with my want to Woohoo in a Bush. Nobody saw us!
Alej: I wanna make my same-hair sistah and her partner a skull-shaped plumbite gemstone.
Tae: I bet they might find that useful, but Kristen might not be into the skull shape.
Alej: Oh, okay. Star-shaped gemstone, it is.
Cebolla: Hey, thanks for dropping by! You wanna come in and meet…where are your babies?
Tae: Thanks but we’re on our way to visit Alej’s parents. It’s been 3 days since I gave birth and our parents phone every day about meeting their grandkids. Zorro and Alej came to see you, though.
Tae: Awww, Zorro adores his Grandma Cebolla. By the way, everyone’s been concerned about my weight, but has Zorro been eating too many gourmet pet meals?
Alej: We realize you and Kristen are hardcore parents. But even if you don’t need a plumbite gemstone for your babies, it’s also great for sleep-deprived parents!
Cebolla: Kris and I don’t need to be awake 24/7 but, yeah, this might come in handy now and then. Thanks! Alej: Doesn't Zorro's tummy look kinda big next to Ringtail (who's actually in Ondarion now)?
Alej: Next, we take the twins to Oasis Springs where my parents are staying. Mama Helena and Yuna look happy together. We’d come planning to ask my parents to stay over for several days, but now I'm not so sure. Pape Carlos just walked out the front door and left Yuna on the sidewalk.
(Both twins earned the 1st VIsit to a Family Member’s Home milestone here.)
Tae: Back home, we invite my parents over to meet the twins. The twins look really happy being held by Grandpa Jun and Grandma Brytani. I believe my parents should do the first stayover, Alej.
Tae: Look, Alej! My father's even cleaning the counter! Let’s invite my parents to stay first!
Alej: Let’s invite my parents first, Tae! If they stayed over second, my parents couldn’t possibly live up to the level of expectations your parents would set as caregivers.
Tae: I doubt that's true, but okay. Let's ask your parents to come over in the morning.
Alej: By the way, did you notice Davi has already earned 15 milestones? And Yuna’s at 12 milestones, so…
Watcher’s Notes:
*First Visit to a Family Member’s Home: I’ve never been able to unlock this milestone until today. I saw a Reddit tip to have one of my household sims enter CAS during the visit and that unlocked the milestone for both twins.
*Living room wallpaper: I wanted to use the wallpaper that came with the Enchanted by Nature pack, but the pattern is too busy for me. I’ve already redone the living room's wall coverings.
