Wednesday, Summer in Everdew (May 28)
Because Kenji's a science baby, he didn’t earn a Life milestone for being born. In terms of developmental skills, however, he has learned all but six. Today, he learns to eat Finger Foods! Go Kenji!
We all need a break from Kenji’s milestones, especially Kenji. So we devote the rest of the day to completing fables. First, I complete Glenn Nhoam’s Rise and Shine fable concerning fairy beliefs, which ends with a reward from this Fairy Ring.
Completing that fable allows me to acquire the Mystical Fairy’s Plants Lie Here fable, which is extremely easy. All I have to do is deliver a Bluebell to her. Because I regularly craft flower arrangements, I always have Bluebells on hand!
Upon our arrival in Sylvan Glade so Alex can try again to catch a Treefish, I check my inventory for Kenji’s playmat. I’m thrilled to find that the Fairy Ring rewarded me with a UFO plant, which completes our Garden collection.
Alej catches two Treefish at Sylvan Glade’s pond before I even realize he’s completed Care Ren’s The Ground Jewel fable! Alex is very unassuming but he's quite an awesome sim!
Back home, I satisfy the requirements for Todd’s Be Kind, Unwind fable, but he’s already closed his apothecary stall. Luckily for me, inviting him over to deliver his requested apothecary ingredients works! So now, we’ve completed seven of the 11 total fables. I wonder how time-consuming the remaining four fables are?

Juwon: Am I being too obvious about wanting to impress you, Vivi? You are the most exotic creature I've ever met!

Vivi (to herself): Why does Juwon feel he needs to wear that awful jacket? Juwon is smart, good-looking, and highly skilled; he doesn't need to try so hard to impress others. He certainly doesn't need that jacket! Is it too early to offer him fashion tips?
Juwon: Our Get-to-Know You date’s activities are Be Friendly, Drink, Eat, and Cloud/Star Gaze. No flirting. Spending time with Vivi is magical and, even though I'm a non-occult, I suddenly self-discover the Mystical trait.. I embrace this trait, wondering how Vivi can affect me so strongly in such a short time.
Vivi: Really? You just now discovered you’re Mystical like me? And you accepted it? How fantastic news, Juwon! *moves closer to Juwon
Juwon (to himself): Vivi’s proximity triggers another discovery, one that I’m keeping to myself. Why did I never feel this way with my other three dates?
Vivi: I can’t believe you invited me to your home and cooked Gumbo for me!
Juwon: You were looking hungry, so I extended our date and changed the venue. It was the gentlemanly thing to do!
Vivi: Gumbo's one of my favorite dishes, Juwon! Thank you!
Juwon (takes a deep breath): Vivi, I’m sure you can tell that I’m attracted to you. How do you feel about me?
Vivi: If you want, I’ll shout it from the rooftops, Juwon, but I’m very attracted to you!
Honestly, I like every little thing about you except that pretentious jacket. Let’s talk about your everyday outfit tomorrow.
Juwon: Tomorrow?
Vivi: Of course, tomorrow! You can’t spoil a girl rotten one day, then leave her hanging the next day. I have plans for our date tomorrow–see you then!

I had no idea that Juwon and Vivi would get along so well together. Juwon is my first-ever sim to self-discover the Mystical personality trait and I believe it's safe to say that VIvi was the main influence. Why else would non-occult Juwon suddenly find out he's Mystical? By the end of their date, they have no sentiments but they are Lovers with maxed Friendship.
