Thu, Fall 5 (Apr 12)

Chiyo: This morning, I become companions with Sasuke then discover I’m no longer companions with Mia. Was it because I was away? C’mon, Mia. let’s kiss and make up!

Chiyo: Zorro’s so adorable! Since Zorro’s still a kitten, Tae can’t even train out his misbehavior or send him to collect feathers.  Basically, Zorro’s only around for his cuteness factor. I bet Tae’s already decided to keep him!
Zorro: Is a little privacy too much to ask?

Tae: I’m killing time until the Around the Fire Festival on Saturday. I spend the afternoon cratting an Amazonite ring for Wolfie. I think he’ll prefer it to a bracelet, since a ring’s less noticeable. Let’s see, what else can I make? I’m still thinking about a prize for Carly as the Cook-Off winter. What can I give her that she can’t make for herself?

I take the whole household to Brindleton Bay’s park, hoping I can complete the Feathers collection tonight.  Look, there's a male Bengal following Mia. Good thing she and Kali are spayed!

And Mia brings me a Spotted Sixam Feather, completing the collection. Great job, Mia!

Friday, Fall 6

This morning’s mail includes the plaque for the Penpal Collection and, finally, a letter from Juwon!

Juwon’s news…it’s not at all what I’d expected End goals? I just became a young adult 3 weeks ago!! Eh, I can’t believe Juwon couldn't at least share his news over the phone.😤

Chiyo: Besides trying raise my friendship with Mia, I try to keep an eye on what she and Kali are up to. When I notice Kali has two “Lecture” opportunities, I quickly chooose them consecutively. Success! Oh no, I still need to trainin out 3 more misbehaviors for Friend of the Animals’ 3rd milestone. Well, anyway, thank you, Kali!

Wolfie: Hey, Tae! About time you asked me to be besties!

Tae: Wolfie, please! We’ve been besties in spirit since high school! Wow, your trailer’s bigger than I'd imagined!
Wolfie: Right? I’m top dog in the Miliary career’s Officer branch yo. My wages are pretty sweet!

Wolfie: Uh, you're gifting me a ring? I’m a happily married man, Tae.

Tae: Wolfie, you know it ain't like that! For helping with the Cook-Off, I made Irene a necklace that helps with excavating in Selvadorada. She asked me to make something similar for you.

Wolfie: Cool! *puts it on immediately

Wolfie: Any word from Juwon? Has he written you?

Tae: I got a letter without a postmark from him this morning. He wrote to say he’s moving on because he fell in love with a Japanese soldier named Isamu.
Wolfie: Sam? As in Col. Isamu Kimura in the UN Peacekeeping Task Force’s Japanese regiment? (I didn’t even know Sam and Juwon knew each other.)

Tae: All I know about Sam is that he and Juwon are in love and are already talking end goals.

Wolfie: By the way…

Tae: Oh, look at the time, Wolfie! I better get going. Sasuke made me promise to take him for a walk tonight.

Tae: You know, Sass, I'd decided to not to participate in that silly Romance Competition Watcher's been planning. But now that Juwon’s moved on, I might as well take the plunge! What’s the worst that could happen? I’d meet some new sims, endure boring boring convos, and learn about Watcher's taste in sims. Bring it on, Watcher! 

Watcher: I’m working on it, Tae!
