Saturday, Summer 21 (Apr 8)
Honey: How are you doing, Rowan? Naturally, I’m Team Rowan all the way!
Rowan: Well, I’m still in the lead with six dishes, but both Carly and Chiyo are nipping at my heels with five dishes each.
Kristen: After yesterday, I’m probably near last place but I’m really happy I came.
Honey: Yes, it’s been fun to spend time together this way. Rowan, can’t we bribe the judge, like at the Finchwick Fair?
Tae: At 11 am, Kristen changes out of her Cook uniform and leaves the getaway. So glad you could join us!
Tae: I watch the bowl Kristen left behind to see who comes by to finish cooking it. It’s Carly!
Carly: It’s only fair! She snatched my White & Black Cake batter on Day 1 and now I’m finishing her Butter Chicken!
Once the Self Care phase starts at 8 pm, all the Cooks shower then go straight to bed. Today, I try replacing the juice trays with a coffee machine.
The remaining four Cooks seem less energetic today than the last two days.
Cebolla never finishes cooking what she’s making.
Carly dazes off into space, while Chiyo prepares an Omelet.
After this Cook-Off’s over, I want to do something nice for Honey and Ollie. I can think of a great gift for Honey, but I don’t know Ollie well enough to choose a gift for him. Maybe invite him on a non-date outing somewhere?
Ceboola: I’m pretty sure I’ll be eliminated tomorrow. Kristen leaving made me lose focus. I started two dishes but didn’t finish either of them. It’s been fun, friendos, but I need to get back to uni and figure out the deal with the Secret Society! Oh and my classes, too.
Chiyo (to herself0: We're all gonna need to diet after this Cook-Off. Rowan's on his third piece of cake this evening and I self-discovered the Glutton trait earlier which, of course, I declined!
Irene: Thanks so much for your hard work, Honey. Ew, where’s that stink coming from?
Tae (sniffs armpit): Not me! But yes, we all really appreciate the work you and Ollie do, Honey!
Honey:Well, that's what we're here for, right? By the way, Irene, that chocolate mousse you cooked today is divine! Oh and speaking of cooking, don’t you both agree that Rowan deserves to win this Cook-Off?
Tae: Now, now, Honey. The winner will be decided fair and square in two-and-half days.
Honey: Two-and-a-half days?
Tae: Yes, the Cook-Off ends soon after the final elimination on Day 6.
Tae: I’m delighted to discover that I can raise an uncommon Owl Butterfly! Watcher and I spent hours last week, unsuccessfully seeking one around the Guard Towner in Wanderwood Wilds. I really hope the one I raise counts toward my collection!
