For Critter Hunter’s fourth milestone, I need to research the mating rituals of butterflies. I can’t help but feel as I’m encroaching on Rowan’s field of expertise.

Chiyo: I receive my first four postcards in the mail this morning. Perhaps that will be my “legacy” in Tae’s challenge. I don’t complete a single aspiration but I do complete the Postcards collection. I’d really love to become a Friend of the Animal’s though.
Chiyo: It suddenly hits me that I have less time in Gibbi Point than I’d thought. Tae’s doing two six-day getaways this month, though he won’t tell me about them. That’s practically half the month gone right there! And that’s why I decide to age up Tae’s kitty Kali today. Maybe I’ll have better luck training out Kali’s misbehaviors. Kali's a mini-Mia with Ringtail's eyes.
Chiyo: We’re at Brindleton Bay’s dog park where I’m still trying to finish my 2nd novel, while Tae has Mia and Kali chase pigeons. No, not here, Mia! Tae asked you to chase pigeons so you bring your feathers to him!
Tae: Kali here is clearly the superior cat! She always drops her feathers right at my feet. I still don’t know where Mia left her first batch of feathers. Pigeons land in 3 different spots in this hood, so I’m only missing one last feather. It kills me to go home, but it’s time to host my first keg party.
Honey’s the first to arrive. She heads straight to the keg and taps it. Thanks, Honey! (I do adore her.)
It's the first social event hosted in our new home and it's great to see everyone together. I took a great shot of Honey accidentally dropping Rowan during a keg stand, but deleted it by mistake. 😭
Kaho Takada: Thanks for inviting me and my brother Kenzo. We haven’t heard from you since Juwon’s birthday party. We brought our stuff to stay for seven nights, starting today. Is that okay?
Tae: I really appreciate you and Kenzo petsitting while Chiyo and I are away.
Kaho: No problem, Tae. Your house is so much nicer than ours. Plus, I love cats. I would like to ask your Watcher a favor, though. Would she please give me a makeover later? I hate this party outfit!.
Tae: Are you ready for tomorrow, Irene? Don’t worry about Wolfie. He’ll be there as one of the staff, but no hanky-panky, okay?
Irene: Tae, I would never!
Tae: Uh huh, we’ll see about that soon.
Tae: I’m really sorry but you and Chiyo will be sleeping in tents for tonight only. Don’t worry, the weather’s still very warm. After Chiyo and I leave, Kaho and you can take our bedrooms.
Kenzo: Wow, you live right on the water. We're really looking forward to petsitting for you, Tae.
Kenzo: I love dogs so I’ll be walking Sasuke daily. And Kaho loves cats, so they’ll get lots of attention from her. Honestly, we’ve both always wanted pets but first our parents and now our landlord in Mt. Komorebi wouldn't let us adopt any. We’ll be spoiling your pets rotten, Tae!
Tae: I’m hyped about tomorrow’s getaway, though I hate to leave my caterpillars behind. Maybe I can start raising a new “Unknown” caterpillar during the getaway? For now, though, I read to the cocoon in the purple incubator: “The time has come," the Walrus said, "to talk of many things...."
What, cocoon? How do you not like Tweedle-Dum and Tweedle-Dee?
Watcher's Note:
Sorry for the awful shots from the keg party! For some reason, nobody was drinking the keg juice, so Tae and Chiyo had to practically drink the whole key on their own. There'll be lots of screenshots of everyone over the next six days.
