Tae: You’re getting better with your chopsticks, Juwon.

Juwon: Unless you’re cooking, I don’t get a chance to use chopsticks in Nordhaven.

Tae: We can cook Veggie Yakisoba together until you’re Chopstick Savvy!

Today is ‘sposed to be my socializing-only day, but I open Heart & Soul for a bit to see if Juwon’s better at his employee tasks.  He isn’t, but I end up with a pottery class of five attendees and can't resist teaching it for the full six hours. I don’t earn as much as the other days, but my class earns a gold medal and takes Heart & Soul super close to its 2nd star. So, yeah, not a play-test after all.

After closing the studio, I arrive home to find the Welcome Wagon: Cannonball Coleman and Crispin Black. Cannonball’s a music lover so I’m sure he’ll get along well with Juwon. But where the heck has Juwon gone this time?

Tae: Juwon shows up late and tries to worm his way back into my good graces by doing the hand-heart thing. 🫶  Ugh, I hate that it works!
Watcher: I’ve never seen any of my sims make the hard-heart before. And he did it autonomously. How is Juwon so adorable?

As soon our guests leave, we head over to the lounge I’ve been renovating for Lilith. It’s named The Nightingale after Lilith, but she’s obviously free to rename it or sell it. The exterior is an immense compromise between the exterior of Lilith’s house and what the Nordhaven folk can accept.

Added a seance table to the first floor and introduced Jesminder Bheeda and her L8 Mixology to Lilith to hire as her employee. There’s a mic near the bar for whenever Lilith feels like crooning.

I left 2-3 vampire tomes around on the tables for customers to read. On second thought, that’s probably not a good idea. Lilith, feel free to sell those tomes.

Downstairs, a pipe organ replaces the original piano.

The added room is set up into two class areas to teach classes in: (1) singing (with mics) or vampire lore, romance, or pet training (with the chairs). It might be hard to teach candle-making, though, since the candle-maker is so wide.

I ask to start a Singing class to see if it works. You would never know that Juwon’s also in the class; he’s singing on his own instead of listening to Lilith’s lecture.

Asking for paid mentoring on the Pipe Organ works, too. I’m definitely returning for some private mentoring in Singing!

Lilith: I’m not sure what to say.

Tae: I’m really sorry I couldn’t build something that suits your aesthetics better, but this is merely a makeshift small business to tide you over until you decide what you really want to do. We’re all looking forward to what you come up with.  No doubt, you already have some awesome idea up your sleeve already! Good luck, Lilith, and good night!

*Removing UI Cheats Extension didn’t make Juwon a better employee.  He did nothing, same like before. You know I had to try it.

*This is just the small business I came up with for Lilith in Tae’s simverse. It was a very quick and shallow renovation, but I did learn how to set up a small business on a separate lot.
