Papa Caleb, How Could You?

Spring 14, Sat (Mar 12)

Tae: Heart & Soul opens for 8 hours today, because Juwon can’t start his pottery class until at least two customers show up plus I want to introduce myself and welcome every first-time customer. Romeo makes treats and autonomously mentors  a customer arranging flowers, while I socialize or offer paid mentoring. No retail sales but we earn 370 renown points for the day. I can’t tell if that’s good or not. Does that mean 5-6 more work shifts to earn that 5th star?

Next, Juwon, Sasuke, and I head over to Crafty Corner to learn the Medium skill but we can’t persuade Ashley to offer a class. While we continue to request the class, Jace starts an Archaeology class and Ashley returns to her woodworking table. Their shops are always filled with customers!

In her beautiful shop, Juwon and I can’t hold a seance together so we sit at separate tables. I try asking Ashley for paid mentoring in the Medium skill, but can’t find that option.  Jace and Ashely seem busy tonight, so we stay until we reach L2 Medium then head to Honey’s house.

Sasuke: Hey, I just met you yesterday, right? Your name’s Cairo!
Maple: Nope, check my ears. My daughter Cairo has her father’s floppy ears. I’m Maple.
Sasuke: Oh, I see now. Sorry! I’m Sasuke.
Tae: Sasuke and Maple seem to really hit it off. Sadly, Sasuke can’t meet Truffle who’s inside the house. (Did I need to knock on the front door?)

Tae: I request a song from the vocal Maple.  She’s super cute!
Sasuke: What about me?

While I’m outdoors with Maple and Sasuke, Honey enters her business and starts a class. So, Juwon buys us entry tickets and we sit in on the class. By the time the class ends, it’s quite late and Honey wants to do her homework for tomorrow. Let's catch up next time, Honey!
With our friends all running businesses, it might be better to either invite them to our place or meet them away from their home lots.

Tae: Juwon, I’m taking Sasuke for a walk.  Be back soon!

Juwon: While they’re gone, I can maybe watch the Romance channel. Oh, what’s this? A Dating Reality Show? Sounds lame but I’ll watch it to gain Romance skill.

Hmmm, it looks like a bachelorette challenge. Wait, isn’t that Tae’s Papa Caleb? Huh, I never took him for the kind of loser who'd join a romantic competition to find true love.  Who knew? I’ve met that blond guy…Kyle something.

Unbelievable! The bachelorette chooses Papa Caleb and tries to give him the rose, but he pushes her hand away! What’s going on?

Ooooooh, Papa Caleb wants Kyle, not the bachelorette!  I never knew Papa Caleb was…ambidextrous. Awww, the bachelorette is crying and…what’s that ominous music?

Tae: Sasuke and I return from our walk just in time to see a burglar slip through our front door. If that burglar harms even a hair on Juwon’s head… *rushes inside

Tae: I walk in and confront the burglar while Juwon phones the police (who claim they’re on their way but never arrive). The burglar must decide we aren’t worth the trouble, because they turn around and vanish into the night. Good riddance!
