Summer 12, Thu (Mar 30)
Tae: Mia’s been crying and looking uncomfortable since early this morning. We thought she might be pregant. Turns out, she needs a litterbox. So I move her litterbox out of the bathroom onto the veranda.
Sasuke: Nobody notices me anymore.
Sasuke: What about me?
Chiyo: Mia! How many times do I have to tell you not to jump on the table?
Mia: Huh?
Tae: Notice Mia’s litterbox right in front of her. But does she use it? Nope, she keeps crying because she’s uncomfortable.
Chiyo: Tae, looks like Mia only wanted a different litterbox.
Tae: But the other one’s better and, more important, it’s the only self-cleaning litterbox!
Chiyo: Don’t sell the self-cleaning one yet! Maybe her future kitties will use it?
Sasuke: What do I have to do to get a little attention around here? I even let Chiyo train out a misbehavior, even though I’ve been saving them for you!
Tae: Sorry, Sasuke. Either Chiyo or I walk you every night, yes? And Chiyo makes you a gourmet meal daily?
Sasuke: Yes, but..
Tae: You’re my best boy! Wait till we move to Gibbi Point–you and me will visit all the swimming spots!
Tae: Around 10 am, I notice Mia has the mating thought bubble. I follow her to make sure and, yep, she’s in heat.
*phones: Hey, Ringtail, you busy? (When did Ringtail get a phone?!)
Mia: Hey, baby boy! Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Ringtail: Depends. Arrgh, stop confusing me!
Chiyo: After Mia’s done monopolizing Ringtail, I introduce myself. Such a handsome raccoon and he becomes my third furry friend!
Tae: Two hours later, I catch Mia and Ringtail doing their little dance again on the dining table. I don’t have the heart to lecture either of them about jumping on the table.
Ringtail: Question, Tae. Is Mia always in heat?
Tae: After spoiling Ringtail for his service beyond the call of duty, I finally have time to clean the canal. Yes, mission accomplished!
Tae: I return home to see Mia, flashing her mating thought bubble and hearts again.
Chiyo: I hate to ask, Tae, but would you please contact Ringtail?
Tae: Of course! *sighs
Tae: Woooo, look at all them hearts! You da raccoon, Ringtail!
Tae: Of course, Ringtail deserves to be fed, brushed, and played with after all that. To my surprise, I get the option to become companions with Ringtail. My first companion! (Please don’t tell Sasuke!). Checking my notifications, I just now notice one about Mia expecting kittens.
Ringtail: Wait, I heard Prof. Rowan talking about the birds & the bees two days ago. He said a cat gets pregnant one day after conception. If so, why did Mia need all that hanky-panky today?
Mia: *whisks tail flirtatiously
Chiyo: Right before I’m off to bed, I notice Mia using our preferred self-cleaning litterbox, the one we bought her first. Sheesh!
Watcher's Note:
It's highly likely that my game's glitched or my MC Pregnancy settings are off. That third mating today was the only one with all the hearts and the Expecting Kitties notification arrived around one sim-hour later (it arrived before the Pottery Meetup notice that would've arrived at 5 pm).
In any case, if cat pregnancy lasts 24 hours, Mia-zilla should be giving birth on the day before the Big Move.
