A Local Legend, Finally!

 

Summer 6, Fri (Mar 24)

Jace: Hey, bestie! Wanna join me at a nightclub in Chestnut Ridge?
Tae: As much as I cherish our friendship, Jace, it’s only 10 am! Oh wait, I see what you’re doing!
Jace: What?
Tae: You’re trying visit Chestnut Ridge in my simverse, because you’re technically allowed to step foot there until April 1st. Nice try, buddy!

Tae: I’m dying to open Heart & Soul because I just know we’ll reach 5 stars today. But Juwon grumbles about feeling Very Unsatisfied romantically, so I spend nearly two hours romancing him until he’s satisfied. Our romance bar still isn’t maxed, though.

It’s past noon when I finally open for business. Customer Appreciation Day is still on cooldown, but that’s fine. Oddly, my neat employee Jade (Rosa) Benali does a no-show without even letting me know. I decide to fire her.

Browse & buy, ladies, browse & buy. But no shoplifting, please!

The teen Lady Amarachi Darong visits Heart & Soul from Dambele, Ondarion, for the first time today. The other customers are either painting or listening to Juwon lecture, so I spend a half hour mentoring her because… she’s gorgeous. 

Tae: So nice to see you, Auntie Megumi! It’s been a while. I’m so close to 5 stars now. I’m staying open until it happens.
Megumi: Will you be free for lunch tomorrow at my place? I’d like to introduce you to some folks special to me.
Tae: Of course, we’ll be there! I mean, if you don't mind if Juwon comes along.
Megumi: He might feel slightly of place but he’s welcome to join us, if you both prefer that.

The instant I receive the alert that Heart & Soul has reached 5 stars and become a Local Legend, I close. Finally!

Once Heart & Soul is closed, I complete the Esteemed Entrepreneur aspiration. In preparation for selling it soon, I replace all of its expensive paintings with medium-priced artwork.

Tae: Just wait, Sasuke, I’m never opening Heart & Soul again, so there’ll be lots of time for us to do all kinds of fun stuff!
Sasuke: Woof!

Juwon: While Tae and Sasuke are out, I’m making a Romantic Sculpture like the one Tae made for Rowan last week. I really hope Tae will wait for me while I’m away, but I don’t have the right to ask him. I was hoping he’d ask to be romantic partners, but nope. *sighs

I used both the Blush and Unbreakable glazes on the finished sculpture. Not many sims know this, but pink is one of Tae’s favorite colors. Hmmm, what else can I do so Tae won’t forget me?
